Welcome to my blog lovely visitor, I hope you enjoy your stay. I'd like to point out that I'm neither a hedge or a bear, although my friends often call me that (Bear not hedge, even my friends aren't that weird).

Even though I've been practicing as a Pagan for pretty much as long as I can remember I'm still learning so feel free to get in touch with your criticisms, advice or whatever happens to be on your mind!

The long, rambling introduction bit

I'm a bit of a mixed bag in a lot of ways I suppose, but then you could probably say that about most pagans. I started off in the Romany pagan traditions then cast off and gathered up other ideas and beliefs as I went along until I've ended up as a sort of hedge/kitchen/Romany pagan with a few other things thrown in as spice. With that in mind, forgive me if I don't follow to the letter a tradition which is close to your heart or if I approach something from a bit of a twisted viewpoint. On the other hand, as I'm still learning even after all this time, you are most certainly welcome to correct or advise me. You can even rant at me if you like, although I don't promise not to put my fingers in my ears...

There are plenty of things that I'm not. I'm neither a hedge or a bear as the blog title might suggest, nor am I some crazy breeding experiment between the two. My friends do tend to call me Bear; if there's a lull in things to write, eventually I might explain why. On the other hand, there are plenty of things I am. I'm a knitter and a gardener, a cook and a writer. I'm also a martial artist, a musician and a businesswoman. Its amazing all the things I manage to squeeze into one person all at the same time. Amazingly, for someone with so many things in the air at once, I'm not a juggler.

And no, I'm not fluffy.
